How to get to Livigno

Foscagno pass (2291 m)

Open all year round, 24 hours a day. Tires chains on board from October to April.

Forcola pass (2315 m):

Open only during the summer season (closed in winter), 24 hours a day. In autumn there are possible time limitations.

Tunnel “Munt la Schera” (3,5 km)

Open all year 24 hours a day, alternating one-way traffic with tolls. During the winter season Saturdays opening times are subject to change.

Vereina Tunnel

Railway tunnel with car transport in the Klosters / Sagliains section (under the Flüela pass). Journey time: 18 minutes. For info on rates: www.rhb.ch

Arriving from Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria.

Road that can be travelled all year round: from Milan S.S. 36 for Lecco - continuing to Colico S.S. 38 towards Sondrio - Tirano - Bormio S.S. 301 Foscagno pass - Trepalle - Livigno.

Roads open to traffic during the summer season:

S.S. 36 for Lecco - continue to Colico S.S. 38 Sondrio, Tirano - entering Switzerland – Poschiavo, Forcola pass - Livigno.
S.S. 36 for Lecco - continue to Colico Chiavenna S.S. 37 - entering Switzerland - Maloja Pass - St. Moritz - Bernina Pass - Forcola Pass Livigno.

Arriving from Triveneto, Emilia, Central and South Italy.

Road that can be travelled all year round: A22 / E45 motorway exit Bolzano Sud -highway direction Merano - S.S. 38/40 towards Rechen Pass up to Glorenza - S.S. 41 direction Tubre / Taufers - Swiss Customs – Fuorn Pass - Tunnel Munt La Schera - Italian Customs - Passo del Gallo - Livigno.

from Landeck (A) direction St. Moritz (CH) to Zernez (CH) – Fuorn Pass - Munt La Schera tunnel - Italian customs Passo del Gallo - Livigno.
from Zurich (CH) - Landquart (CH) direction Klosters - Tunnel Vereina - Zernez - direction Fuorn Pass - Tunnel Munt La Schera - Italian Customs Passo del Gallo - Livigno.
